NDHSAA NEWS RELEASE – Monday, December 2
VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The 2024 NDHSAA Class B One-Act State Play Contest was held Monday and Tuesday, November 25 and 26 in Jamestown. Mike McIntyre, University of Jamestown, served as manager.
The top eight places awarded at the finals were as follows:
1st - Kindred performing 'The Day the Internet Died'
2nd - Shiloh Christian performing 'The Strength of Our Spirit, The Vision of Anne Frank'
3rd - Park River Area performing 'The Yellow Boat'
4th - South Prairie performing 'How To Get Away With a Murder Mystery'
5th - Enderlin performing 'Sleeping Walter'
6th - New Salem-Almont performing 'The Other Room'
7th - North Sargent performing 'Push & Pull'
8th - Ellendale performing 'The Last Train'
Superior Actor Awards were presented November 25 at Jamestown High School to:
Martin Bergstedt – Enderlin
Bostyn Blankenbaker – Bowman
Nela McKibben – Carrington
Aidan Thurber – Ellendale
Aleece Meek – New Town
Emilee Bergstrom – Milnor
Josh Lindbo – South Prairie

Schools qualified for State from one of ten regional contests held in early to mid-November. State Qualifiers included: Beach, Bowman County, Carrington, Drake-Anamoose, Ellendale, Enderlin, Kindred, Kulm, Langdon Area, Milnor, New Salem-Almont, New Town, North Sargent, Park River Area, Shiloh Christian, South Prairie, Stanley, and Thompson.
