NDHSAA Board Synopsis - (June 11, 2025)
VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The North Dakota High School Activities Association Board of Directors met in person on Wednesday, June 11 in Valley City.
The following were agenda items were discussed or acted on:
The Board approved the officers for the 2025-26 school year. Patti Aanenson, Athletic Director at Larimore High School, will be Board President. Mitch Lunde, Athletic Director at Minot Public Schools, will be Vice President.
The Board approved four items from Athletic Review.
Tournament sites for 2026 NDHSAA Spring Sports were approved. Current Board-Approved Tournament Sites. Select “2025-26” tab for 2025-26 Region and State Tournament sites. Other Sites approved were 2026-27 Winter Region Basketball Tournaments. Select “2026-27” tab to view the approved sites for that school year.
The Board approved its budget for the 2025-26 school year & approved the NDHSAA’s Team Payments that are distributed back to member schools.
The Board reviewed and approved a draft to its Spectator Ejection Policy.
The Board reviewed and approved an Independent Third Party Eligibility Committee eligibility committee beginning in 2025-26.
The Board approved recommendations for Class B Boys Golf developed by the Board’s Golf Task Force.
The Board approved recommendations for Boys & Girls Tennis developed by the Board’s Tennis Task Force.
The Board approved four recommendations from Fine Arts Review
The Board recognized outgoing Board Member – President Andrew Jordan (Superintendent of Wilton School)
The Board of Directors next scheduled meeting is September 25 in Valley City.
