VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Martin Altenburg, a 2017 Fargo North graduate and a former NDHSAA/Farmers Union Insurance Distinguished Student has hit the big time.

Altenburg was recently a contestant on the TV Game Show "The Hustler" which airs on ABC. The game show is hosted by Scottish-American actor and comedian Craig Ferguson.

Altenburg is a recent Stanford graduate. During his senior year at Fargo North, Altenburg was accepted into all eight Ivy League colleges. He was a 2016/17 NDHSAA Farmers Union Insurance Distinguished Student.

“The Hustler” follows five contestants who collaborate to build up a cash prize by answering a series of trivia questions. One of the contestants is secretly designated as the Hustler beforehand and given the answers to all the questions. By the end of the game, two of the honest contestants have been eliminated; the other two must correctly choose the Hustler in order to stop them from winning the entire prize.

During the episode in which Altenburg was a contestant, he gave a brief introduction/bio about himself saying he was from Fargo, ND and was a recent Stanford graduate.
