Latest ND 9-man, Division A football polls released

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The latest North Dakota 9-man and Division A high school football polls were released Wednesday, September 23. The polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

Kidder County (4-0) received 15 first-place votes and checked in at No. 1 for the sixth-straight week.

At the top of the Division A poll is Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich (5-0) receiving 17 first-place votes. The Cardinals are two-time defending Division A state champions and own a 30-game winning streak.

Below are the complete polls with voting totals:

9-man
1. Kidder County (15) 4-0 84
2. Cavalier (1) 5-0 60
3. LaMoure-LM (1) 5-0 56
4. St. John 5-0 30
5. Linton-HMB 1-1 23
Others Receiving Votes: May-Port-CG (5-0), Ray/Powers Lake (4-0), North Border (4-1).

1. Langdon/Edmore/Munich (17) 5-0 90
2. Velva 4-0 58
3. Lisbon 4-0 55
4. Oakes 3-0 37
5. Killdeer 5-0 28
