Latest ND 9-man, Division A football polls released

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The latest North Dakota 9-man and Division A high school football polls were released Wednesday, October 23. The polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

Cavalier (9-0) took the top spot in the 9-man poll with 17 first-place votes. New Rockford-Sheyenne (7-1) is ranked No. 2 this week.

At the top of the Division A poll is Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich (9-0) receiving 17 first-place votes. The Cardinals are the defending Division A state champions.

3. Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page 9-0 44
4. Ray/Powers Lake 7-1 29
5. Kidder County 7-1 12
Others Receiving Votes: Linton-HMB (7-1), May-Port-CG (7-1), Central McLean (7-1).

4. Bowman County 7-1 30
5. Oakes 7-1 24
