  • Bismarck High has won one NDHSAA Class A girls golf team state championship in program history (2014).

  • Rachel Jahner of Dickinson won the 2013 NDHSAA Class A girls golf individual state championship.

  • Valley City has won one NDHSAA Class A girls cross country team state championship in program history (1980).

  • Watford City has won one NDHSAA Class B girls cross country team state championship in program history (2009).

  • Grand Forks Red River defeated Fargo South 1-0 in a shootout during the 2002 NDHSAA boys soccer state championship match.

  • West Fargo High defeated Fargo Shanley 3-1 in the 2014 NDHSAA boys soccer state championship match.

  • Dickinson defeated Bismarck Century 3-2 (25-16, 25-12, 17-25, 19-25, 15-8) in the 2006 NDHSAA Class A volleyball state championship match.

  • Des Lacs-Burlington defeated Beulah 3-1 (15-12, 8-15, 18-16, 17-15) in the 1991 NDHSAA Class B volleyball state championship match.

  • Parker Lawley of Fargo South won the 2010 NDHSAA boys tennis individual singles state championship.

  • Stanley/Powers Lake defeated Carrington 20-12 in the 2002 NDHSAA Division A football state championship game.
