Dickinson wins 2023 NDHSAA gymnastics team state title

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Dickinson won its eighth consecutive NDHSAA Gymnastics team state championship on Friday, February 24 at Jamestown High School and now holds the record for most consecutive team state championships won by a program. Last year, Dickinson High tied Fargo South for the most consecutive team state titles won by a gymnastics program in state history. Fargo South also won seven straight team titles from 1977 to 1983.

The Midgets scored a team total of 148.9833. Runner up honors went to Bismarck Century. The Patriots scored a team total of 145.4833.

Dickinson now has won 17 team state championships in program history – the most by a single program in state history.

In individual competition, the following gymnasts won state championships:

Individual All-Around State Champion: Karina Olson, Valley City

Individual Vault State Champion: Elizabeth Karsky, Dickinson High

Individual Uneven Bars State Champion: Aspen Rodarmel, Dickinson High 

Individual Beam State Champion: Karina Olson, Valley City

Individual Floor State Champion: Reygan Strommen, Dickinson High

Final Team Scores: 1-Dickinson High, 148.9833; 2-Bismarck Century, 145.4833; 3-Jamestown, 144.6667; 4-Minot High, 141.0500; 5-Bismarck Legacy, 139.5000; 6-Wahpeton/Breckenridge, 134.0667; 7-Mandan, 133.4167; 8- Grand Forks, 129.7833
