Bismarck High wins Class A Team Dual Wrestling State Title

FARGO – Bismarck High rolled to another NDHSAA Class A team dual wrestling state championship on Saturday, February 20 at the FARGODOME.

The Demons defeated Valley City 70-6 in the championship match picking up bonus point decisions in all 13 matches they won in the dual.

Bismarck High got pins from Kaden Renner (106), Brandt Kringlie (195), Isaiah Huus (220), Wilfried Tanefeu (120), LJ Araujo (126), Juan Flores (132), Tyrus Jangula (138), Parker Benz (145), Isaac Peterson (152).

The Demons have won two consecutive Class A team dual titles and 17 in program history.

Saturday’s action also saw the Demons pickup wins over West Fargo Sheyenne (62-7 in the quarterfinals) and Jamestown (54-15 in the semifinals).
