NDHSAA NEWS RELEASE - MAY 22, 2025
VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The North Dakota High School Activities Association Board of Directors approved the election of two board members for the 2025-26 school year during a meeting held May 22.
Scott Jung, New England Public School Superintendent, was elected as the Class B Southwest Representative.
Travis Christensen, Fargo North High School Principal, was elected as the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals (NDASSP) Representative.
Ballots were distributed to member schools following the April 2025 NDHSAA Membership Meeting and were tallied via electronic ballot on May 15. NDHSAA Board Members serve four-year terms.
Jung will replace Andrew Jordan (Superintendent of Wilton School) as the Class B Southwest representative.
Christensen will serve a new four-year term for the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals (NDASSP). Christensen served the fourth year of the current NDASSP four-year term that was vacated by previous representative Ned Clooten, who served the first two years of the current term.
Jung and Christensen will begin their four-year terms on July 1, 2025.
